Bench Arbors

Our Cedar Bench Arbor is practical and esthetically pleasing and has many possible uses in your garden center merchendising scheme. Dee's Nursery on Long Island developed the first version of benching arbors for their newly constructed greenhouse. With a peak of 45 feet they soon realized they needed to fill the space over the benches. We liked the concept so much that we have developed some  additional ideas on how or why you should incorporate the arbor in your display design. Constructed entirely of white cedar 4x4 posts and 2x6 supports and runners. Includes support for hanging baskets.


Multiple uses:

Esthetically pleasing space filler: wood helps to warm the metal and glass of a big new space.

Hanging basket display: designed to hold baskets that are reachable by the consumer yet not in the way of other plants displayed on the lower levels.

Sprinkler head support: hang sprinkler heads for the bench product on the underside or string drip irrigation for the baskets.

Shade cloth support: stretch shade cloth over the bench or across multiple isles to protect light sensitive plants.
